Kwale County Government is located on the south coast of Kenya. The County Public Service Board invites applications from qualified and competent individuals to fill the following vacant positions on permanent and pensionable terms in the departments of Public Service and Administration, Water Services, and Health Services.

  1. Senior Human Resource Management Officer
    Job Ref: HRM/SR/01/2025
    Job Type: Full Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage HR matters in line with established policies and regulations
  • Supervise junior staff and support departmental training needs assessment
  • Coordinate staff development programs and maintain training records
  • Process payroll and statutory deductions; prepare reports and audit support
  • Maintain accurate personnel records including appointments, promotions, and exits

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (public or private sector)
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
  • Postgraduate Diploma in HRM or related discipline
  • Certified HR Professional (CHRP-K) or equivalent (advantageous)
  • Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM)
  • Proficient in computer applications
  1. Human Resource Management Officer – 4 Posts

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Verify HR records related to recruitment, transfers, and appointments
  • Implement HR advisory decisions
  • Support training projections and staff development programs

Qualifications:

  • Served in HRM Officer II position for at least 3 years
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field
  • Postgraduate diploma in HR or relevant field
